Reaching the world with GOD'S compassionate love

Bishop Ernest Paul Komanapalli

It is with profound sorrow that I along with the Manna family announce that our founder & spiritual father Bishop Ernest Paul Komanapalli went to be with our Lord in the early hours of May 24, 2021. Having lived 83 years and serving the Lord in ministry for 63 years, he was laid to rest in Hyderabad, India.

From humble roots, god has raised him up to be a tremendous vessel of God's compassionate love. Founding the Manna Group of Ministries(Manna Full Gospel Ministries, Miriam Children's Home, Rock Church Ministries, Rock Church Educational Foundation, Arunodaya Ministries, Manna International, and Paramjyoti Educational Foundation)in six decades of ministry helping tens of thousands of children through Children homes, child care programs and educational institutions, bringing the gospel to millions, establishing churches throughout India and other nations, healthcare to thousands and relief to the masses suffering from natural disasters.

Those who met him and those who knew him personally testify to his whole hearted effort to live out a motto he learned in Bible school: "Faithfulness excels fame", as well as his personal favorite " I am saved to save others". His humility, integrity, love of family, life of prayer, study of the Bible, deep desire to help others, and to see the next generation realize their God given potential and calling were marked traits of his life.

Having a heart for the unity in the Global church, he served for a time as the Chairman of Full Gospel Leaders of Andhra Pradesh, Chairman of the Pentecostal Fellowship of India, Executive and Advisory Committee member of the Pentecostal World Fellowship, and a Founding member of the Apostolic Fellowship International. He crossed ministry and denominational/Charismatic and Catholic churchdialogue in Rome even meetingPope Francis on different occasions. He travelled to 100 countries ministering to the body of Christ.

Bishop Ernest is survived by his wife Rev. Rachel J. Komanapalli, 4 adult children: Sudarshan Jyoti Komanapalli(wife Asha), Deeven Kumar(wife Vijaya), Carolyn Joyce(husband Geoff)and Irene Vivian(husband Daniel), and eleven grandchildren, that were so dear to his heart.

We humbly request your prayers for us as a family and as a ministry as we move forward in fulfilling God's vision and calling. We are grateful to all of you who have reached out to us with kind words of comfort and prayers. We thank you for standing with us in our time of grief and as we continue with the work of the Lord.
